Financial support gives access to the tools and equipment needed for radio and antenna building projects which grow students’ applied technical skills and keeps them engaged in the hobby. By using the latest radio equipment, club members experience, and push, the bounds of technological innovation. Your financial support also helps ensure Spartans can be heard around the world as student contest teams participate on air in contests and special events from our club’s radio “Shack” in the Engineering Building.
Our club actively recruits new members and generates interest among the students with our public operating events. As new students join us your financial support helps us continue our practice of covering fees for licensing exams and providing a gift of a new handheld radio for successful licensees. Your gift also opens opportunities for student hams to travel to training, conferences, conventions and network with fellow student hams from around the nation and the world.
