Sparticipation 2026!

Sparticipation this year was looking bleak around 9:00am on the same day. It was pouring rain in the greater Lansing, MI area with no signs of letting up. As it turned out, the clouds parted and allowed the club to continue with the premier student club recruiting even of the year. We passed out about 150 flyers, recorded roughly 75 student emails, and spoke with a ton of folks interested in amateur radio. We talked about last year’s ISS Slow Scan TV Images, the antenna project, the improvements to the VHF/UHF station in the shack, and all the contests we placed extremely well in. Watch for the club’s first event this year, the Tech In A Day Class, coming September 19th in the Engineering building, where we’ll have a class + testing session all on the same day!
